Z Sheep Tag Pairs

Z for Sheep Eid & Visual tags are the ideal one-piece solution for identifying lambs and ewes, especially when manual or single application is preferred. They are applied using our retractable applicator, which significantly reduces the risk of ear tearing, particularly in older sheep. With five pivot points, a spring-loaded handle, and a lightweight, ergonomic design, the applicator ensures quick, safe, and easy tagging—making the process faster and less stressful for both the animal and the operator.

The EID FDX-B transponder is housed in a flexible, waterproof plastic tray and is secured when the tag is closed over ensuring security and readability for life.
The electronic and visual tags are provided in separate strips of 10 tags.

If you are keeping sheep for more than 12 months, they must be identified with one electronic tag and one visual tag, both displaying your unique flock number. The electronic tag must be yellow.
