TagFaster Sheep Eid & Visual Tag is the combination of an innovative tag and automatic dispenser offering total tagging convenience and speeds up to six times faster than traditional tagging. The electronic (FDX-B transponder) and visual tag, available in alternate colours, are placed side by side in a 20 tag strip (giving you 10 pairs of tags) which eliminates the need to sort and match numbers. Lightweight with sealed electronics TagFaster welfare friendly pin pierces all ears (lambs and ewes) with minimal tissue damage.

The coloured visual tag is paired with the Yellow EID tag, which has a matching coloured fixing for easy identification. The EID FDX-B transponder is embedded within the tag’s body, ensuring it cannot be damaged or lost.

“If you are keeping sheep for more than 12 months, they must be identified with one electronic tag and one visual tag, both displaying your unique flock number. The electronic tag must be yellow.”
